Living in Honduras, Central America & traveling through the neighboring countries in Latin America in the 70's changed my life by opening me up to a world of diversified culture. For several decades my focus was in Alternative Health as an acupuncturist and kinesiologist. Out of my love & enjoyment for being in nature and exploring the “back roads” of Arizona, New Mexico and Mexico, Joyride Southwest Tours evolved. Always curious, I wanted to know “what is around the bend or over the next mountain.” The beauty & diversity of geology & culture of the Southwest is so enriching. Sharing these treasures with others who join me on the tours deepens my appreciation. The annual International Music Festival in Alamos, Mexico led me to expand to the enriching experience of Mexico. The responsiveness from the travelers who join me on the tours is encouraging. So many of them have expressed a desire to experience Mexico but warnings and fears have stopped them. My tours have helped them to feel safe and even comfortable about traveling and exploring on their own. Our tours do not exceed two large vans with 9 passengers each. We offer safe and secure tours to Mexico for those who have been hesitant to explore on their own. The experience of a small Mexican city and town with people who have such a zest for life, music and family will build a desire to explore other states as each state in Mexico has it's unique culture. Our drivers have excellent driving records and experience driving in Mexico. We have expanded, leading our second women's retreat to Italy this year and will be continuing to visit other European countries.
